Doug Monson resides in a small town in western Wyoming. He has had a passion for drawing western and wildlife scenes since he was a young boy.  Doug has always loved the outdoors. His favorite hobbies are horseback adventure, hiking in the mountains, spending time in nature observing wildlife, and camping with his family.  His personal experiences, like traveling to the Grand Tetons, have greatly contributed to his artwork.

Doug is know for his uncanny ability to capture the emotions and personalities of the animals he loves to draw.  Using charcoal and graphite allows Doug to add layers and textures that his collectors love!
