Kyle Ma - Biography I began my artistic journey during my childhood as I developed a love of nature living in the beautiful island of Taiwan. I enjoyed drawing because it served as a way of sharing my passion with others. The majestic mountain ranges and lush green prairies around me served as inspiration to me. As a child, I was lucky to have the opportunity to travel extensively and to visit several art museums. I was inspired by the masterful works of art seen there. That allowed me to realize what I could and wanted to do with my passion. By 2010, at the age of ten, my family and I came to the United States. During that time I was also introduced to the world of painting which I've loved ever since. Until this day, I continue to strive to share my vision of the world around us through art. I paint as much as I can hoping to communicate with the viewer what I saw and felt each time I pick up a brush. Awards: 8th annual RayMar competition finalist. 4th annual Plein Air Salon competition finalist and Best Artist Under 30. Boldbrush July 2015 monthly competition finalist. Associate member of OPA. While I’m not painting: A member of Ranger Marching Band and Vista Ridge HS Wind Ensemble, play Euphonium. Interested in Geology and Meteorology.
